Over one hundred and fifty guests gathered at the Cholmondeley Room in the House of Lords to celebrate Mulan Foundation Network 2016 Annual Awards and Reception. Lord Clement­ Jones CBE, Mulan Ambassador was the Sponsoring Peer and it was great that we are able to hold this event at such a prestigious venue.

The Board of Trustees congratulate all the winners of 2016, and greatly look forward to more Chinese women coming forward to be recognised for their achievements in the future. We strongly believe that there is so much that Chinese women can offer to other Chinese women and the societies and business communities in which they live.

The Trustees of Mulan Foundation Network hosted a happy and successful Summer Drinks event for friends and supporters of the charity on 1 August 2016. This was the first Mulan event in 2016. The chosen venue was the high quality modern restaurant, Bright Courtyard Club in Baker Street which is part of Shanghai Life Fashion Group established in Shanghai in 1997 and whose motto is ‘Innovation, Style and Quality.’ The Trustees are grateful to Bright Courtyard Club for their support of the charity and for their kind support and the delicious canapes they provided.

Mulan Awards honour the achievements and successes of Chinese women in the United Kingdom.

This annual event at the Corinthia Hotel London was hosted by the Chairman, Mei Sim Lai OBE DL and the Trustees of Mulan Foundation Network.

The Mulan Foundation Network’s Annual General Meeting will be on Monday, 1st August 2016 at the Bright Courtyard Club, 43-45 Baker Street London W1U 8EW from 17:30 followed by a drinks reception from 18:30
