Why mentoring? Developing the leaders of tomorrow'

Mulan Foundation Network is committed to encouraging, celebrating and most of all developing Chinese women in the UK to take on leadership roles. Their hidden talents need to be brought to the fore, so that they can enjoy better working lives and their organisations can benefit from their strengths. With this in mind, Mulan is hoping to launch a mentoring scheme in 2018 for eligible and talented women.

Monday 18 September 2017 – Mentoring Introduction Event
The aim of this event is to inspire women who may be interested in taking part in a mentoring programme, and to identify our target audience's needs.

Venue: London Capital Club, 15 Abchurch Lane London EC4N 7BW – nearest tube Bank.

Registration from 18.00hrs. Talk & Q & A 18.30hrs. Networking 19.45hrs. Carriages 20.30hrs.

Who should attend? Chinese women from all backgrounds, particularly from community, NGO and charitable organisations, social enterprises as well as commercial bodies and the professions.

You will learn what mentoring is, how it has impacted, and can impact, women's lives and what support there is available to access a mentor. There will be time for Q and A and networking.

Speakers will include:

Dr Sam Collins - Award winning mentoring expert, Chairman of Aspire Foundation. Dr Collins is synonymous with the M.A.D. (Making A Difference) movement that has the goal to make a difference to 1 billion women and girls by 2020 and author of the internationally bestselling book, 'Radio Heaven – One Woman's Journey to Grace'.

Carol Hui, Chief of Staff and General Counsel at Heathrow Airport Limited – (TBC)

Hosted by Mulan's Chairman Meisim Lai OBE DL.
